Model Railway Show.

Saturday & Sunday
the 20th & 21st of September.

The Citadel Leisure Centre
South Beach Road, Ayr
KA7 1UP

As usual, a variety of layouts from N gauge through to 0 gauge featuring,
our own layouts,

"Swinlees"   '00' gauge,
"Jefferson junction"  'H0' gauge
"Lake Havnaklu" N gauge,

plus the following layouts from our guest clubs,

Perth MRC, "Almond Bridge"
Stirling MRC, "Devilla Colliery", '00' gauge
Greenock MRC, "Garsdale", '00' gauge,
Kyle MRC, Millford", '00' gauge,
Bonnybridge MRC, "Park Road", '00' gauge

along with layouts from A Deans & M Bartle

East Kilbride MRC will be bringing, "Wee Jimmy" which the kids of all ages can have a shot at driving "Thomas and friends"

that makes 11 layouts in total.

As well we will have a good selection of traders including
"Doon Valley Models", "Douglas Blades Books", "Townfoot Models", "Mac's Models", "Pooleys Puffers Models", "MB Models",
"Scotch Corner" and provisionally "The Cheltebham Model Centre".

As usual we will have "Squires Model & Craft Tools" who has been generously sponsoring flyers with his postal orders.


We will have as usual the "DEMU" and "Thistle Modelmakers" demonstration stands and the "Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group" and the "Stranraer to Ayr Line Support Association" as well.

As our many previous visitors will know, the Citaldel Centre has excellent disabled access and parking around the centre and is easy walking distance of Ayr town centre, where our other halves can spend a few hours browsing in the shops allowing those more interested in model railways to enjoy the show with our offspring (future modelers).

The show will be open from 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.

Admission charges,
Adults  £3.50,  Child/Pensioner  £2.50,  Family (2 + 2)  £9.00
